The BCE Way

You’ve heard that old worn out expression, “Why re-invent the Wheel?” At BCE there’s plenty of room for creativity - let’s face it, wheels today don’t look at all like they did a hundred years ago. But a wheel is still a wheel and performs the same basic function.

Therefore, we believe it’s in your best interest and ours as a company to “not re-invent the wheel” in certain areas of our business. Amongst these are keeping focused on the company’s mission, sticking to basic procedures that were developed by experienced professionals, and adhering to our proven training methods. Once you’ve got the basics

down and you are achieving a reasonable level of sales, then its time to ad a little creative flair or your own style. We have a high level of interest in seeing you achieve success and we’ve invested a lot of knowledge, time and money into developing programs, trainings and strategies that work. You may come up with a better way in

the future, but in the beginning our advice is to learn what we can teach you and apply that knowledge right away.


The BCE Mission

Our mission, “Provide Merchants with Payment Solutions and Service Beyond Their Expectations” is not just a collection of words. It’s a culture we live by. Does our company always accomplish this mission in the eyes of our clients? The answer unfortunately is no. We don’t always. However what gives our company character is that we recognize this fact and always strive to find new ways to accomplish or improve upon our mission. We do however accomplish this mission quite often - and our goal is to live up to our mission in all cases. What makes a great company is when management realizes that there’s always room for improvement, and thus, is always seeking that improvement. The first impression our company provides to a prospective new client is generated from you, our sales representative. Your dedication and professionalism, your empathy for the client’s needs and your communication ability are factors that help to portray our mission as a company in the mind of the merchants we serve. Take our mission as seriously as we do and make it your own. Commit it to memory and explain it to every client you speak with. Let them know how seriously you and the company hold that mission. Your conviction will create more opportunity and new customers than any other single factor. In today’s economy it is often and falsely believed that low price is the major motivating factor from buyers of goods and services. BCE could compete with nearly every competitor over price. However, after more than a decade of serving businesses’ needs we recognize that price is not the most important factor. When handling a client’s money and transactions, trust and confidence are more crucial factors. We can be the most trustworthy company in the transaction industry, but if you are unable to convey confidence in the client with your knowledge and ability to listen to and fulfill their needs, then the client will not feel that they can trust BCE. Conversely, if you show conviction, explain clearly our mission as a company and genuinely show and prove that you care about your client you will win many sales at higher prices where price was thought to be the prevailing factor. Keep the BCE mission in mind at all times and ensure your client understands its importance in selecting a company and a representative to do business with.
